IGNITE has been promoting the next Real Talks event happening on Nov. 19 featuring award-winning television stars Antoni Porowski and Dan Levy.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for the event starting at 1 p.m. in the Humber College North Campus Student Centre and is open to any Humber or University of Guelph-Humber student on a first come, first served basis.
The event page says the Real Talks will focus on both Porowski and Levy as well as “all things personal growth, wellness, and career advice.” Also there will be a live cooking demonstration from Porowski.
Porowski is well known for his work on the Emmy award-winning Netflix series Queer Eye.
He is also a self-taught cook, with many of his culinary creations inspired by his grandmother. He is an advocate for healthy living, both physically and mentally.
Levy is a writer, producer, and actor on the Emmy award-winning series Schitt’s Creek.
Levy has fought for LGBTQ+ rights and has spoken out about his own expierences on sexual orientation and the issues with societal labelling.
The first 150 individuals who register and have also paid the Social Programming fee can also register for a photo op with Porowski or Levy.
If you register for Porowski’s photo op, you will also receive a copy of his cookbook, Antoni in the kitchen. If you want to be a part of the photo op you have to attend the event.
