This is our weekly round-up of what we consider the top events that are happening at the University of Guelph-Humber/Humber College North Campus. All events on campus are free unless stated otherwise. 

Monday, Nov. 4

GHAMA: Design Workshop

The Guelph-Humber Advertising and Marketing Association will be hosting their third annual design workshop led by alumna Elysa Viti. This former VP of design will help attendees learn how to use Adobe illustrator to make all sorts of infographics and designs!

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

IGNITE: Career Week

All throughout the week, IGNITE will be hosting several events that will help students in their quest of finding the right career path for them. Some of the events include workshops like exploring your options, how to set goals or how to study abroad. Most of the events require registration which students can do so online.

Wednesday, Nov 6

WIBS: Presentation/Interview Workshop

The Women in Business society will be hosting two events on this day to help reach out to all years at GH. The Interview workshop is prepared for 1st and 2nd-year students eager to learn how to have a successful interview and tips on how to prepare for them. The Presentation workshop will be for 3rd and 4th-year students and how they can improve their presentation skills for school and the workplace.

IGNITE: LinkedIn Local Humanizing the Digital World

Join IGNITE for the networking and panellist event that will focus on how to navigate yourself through the digital world when it comes to looking for jobs and building your career.

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
