Marvel and Sony reach Spider-Man agreement

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have come to an agreement on the web-slinging hero.

After a shocking revelation in the summer where Disney and Sony broke away from one another over the rights to Spider-Man, it was announced on Friday that Marvel Studios, under Kevin Feige, will produce one more Spider-Man movie in cooperation with Sony Pictures and Pascal Pictures.

As of now, the deal allows for a third untitled Spider-Man movie slated for July 16, 2021 as well as Spider-Man appearing in a future Marvel Studios project of their choice which will more than likely be Avengers 5.

Amy Pascal will also produce through her production house of Pascal Pictures as she did with Homecoming (2017) and Far From Home (2019).

Tom Holland will return to the role alongside Jacob Batalon (Ned), Zendaya (MJ) and Marissa Tomei (Aunt May).

The details of the movie are still under wraps.
