As a post-secondary student, we spend thousands of dollars for tuition, textbooks and attempting to have a social life from time to time.

Luckily, you don’t need a whole lot of money to enjoy our guide to the best student discounts across Canada! What you do need is a valid student ID!

Art Gallery of Ontario

With over 90,000 works with art from Africa and Europe, and work from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is the place to be! The AGO also has special exhibitions such as the popular Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors, running until May 27. Check out our review of the exhibit.

General admission is $19.50, but students with valid ID pay $11!

On a tight budget? The AGO is free on Wednesday nights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Ontario Science Centre

A regular adult ticket is $22 but with your student ID, the ticket is $16!

Ripley’s Aquarium

Located in the heart of Toronto, the Ripley’s Aquarium has something for everyone! It’s an amazing place to go with your family, a group of friends or for date nights!

There are many fun programs such as Dive Shows, Sleep with the Sharks, Morning Yoga and Photography classes!

A regular ticket ranges from $30 to $35, but students get 25% off.
