Striking yeti talks to the Post

The Post got in touch with the anonymous yeti spotted at the college faculty union rally that took place Thursday at Queen’s Park.

We asked why he or she was dressed up in a yeti costume sporting a sign reading “#YetiOnStrike” but apparently the Post as approaching it all wrong because the yeti told us: “Me Yeti because me born Yeti.”

But that’s not al the yeti had to say.

Pointing out its “stop the freeze on full-time jobs” sign, Mr or Ms Yeti said it liked the cold “but not a freeze on full-time hiring preferences at [Ontario] colleges!”

“It is important for educat[ion] quality,” explained the yeti.

“Yeti love Yeti’s students and miss them much-much, but strike is good for students education quality,” the yeti said.

“Faculty fight for student learning conditions.”

The yeti explained that “more full-time faculty mean better work environment for prof[essors]…and [a] better work environment for students.”
